Meet the Chef
Chef Daryl always envisioned owning his own food business. Whenever he talks about new food concepts, his creative juices spring into action. He learned to cook from his mother at an early age and looked forward to experimenting in the kitchen for family celebrations. A native of Boston, he has worked as an entrepreneur for more than 30 years, gaining experience at all levels of the food industry, from family style establishments to fine dining, honing his culinary arts skills at Johnson & Wales.
During his career Chef Daryl owned three restaurants in Boston and founded Daryl’s Place, home of the famous “Shabazz” wings in Springfield, Ma. During the pandemic, Chef Daryl started a successful online gourmet food business, featuring his famous signature sauces, breading mix and the original bean pie. A health enthusiast, Chef Daryl is passionate about creating simple nutritious products that add flavor to family home-cooked meals.
